The online course will offer you an immersive week into the connections between soil, plant, animal and human health. We aim to create a vivid and exciting virtual environment, where you can benefit from live interactions with leading scientists and with your fellow classmates from around the world, complemented by independent learning.

The programme will consist of a mix of interactive live sessions at fixed times and independent work in small groups. You will get a virtual insight into our research stations, communicate directly with the scientists working there and be introduced to their ongoing experiments, tackle scientific challenges as health detectives, and give a small virtual presentation at the end of the week.

We realise that networking with your fellow classmates is also an important aspect of joining the summer school. We will therefore offer a digital social programme that could include an online escape room game, a virtual city tour or an online bingo.
